Sylvia Reimer, RN, CEN is a well-versed registered nurse who is currently retired and living in Texas. Her last core role was with the Emergency Room at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas. She has retired in 2018 to travel and enjoy life. Sylvia Reimer, RN, CEN attended Lone Star College in Houston, TX, and received her nursing degree in 1996. She has been a paramedic since 1983 and was also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, CPR, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. A Trauma Nursing Core Course Instructor, Sylvia remained at the forefront of her challenging field via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations, such as the Emergency Nursing Association. “When Sylvia was a young girl, she played outside and the favorite game was nursing those who wrecked their bicycles.
